About
Adam Theriault is a New Hampshire-based artist, educator, and designer whose work explores change and the interconnectedness of all things.
Following a life-altering accident, Adam transformed a long-held interest in art into a daily practice. The repetitive process of stippling became a way to reflect, rebuild, and make sense of change—one dot at a time. Since then, he has created hundreds of works inspired by New England landscapes, wildlife, water, celestial forms, and the unseen patterns that connect them.
Working on paper, wood, reclaimed materials, and objects already marked by use and time, Adam allows grain, damage, history, and imperfection to become part of each composition. His work reflects a belief that nothing exists entirely on its own: people, animals, landscapes, memories, materials, and technologies continually shape and influence one another.
Each dot is an individual mark, but its meaning emerges through its relationship to the whole.
When he is not creating, Adam can usually be found listening to music, biking, teaching, designing, or spending time with his wife and children.
